Amazon Alexa is a mobile app for remote management of Amazon and other manufacturers' devices. A large company has already produced several wireless audio speakers, set-top boxes, WiFi-cameras, music systems, and other gadgets. To manage them and was created a mobile application Amazon Alexa. With just a few clicks, you can control your music around the house, set up your playlist, and even search the internet. And all this via your smartphone or tablet.

Each section is a separately created room with installed Amazon devices. You can also manage device categories via the main menu. For example, only Echo video cameras or audio speakers. The interface is not dull or monotonous. But it's not immediately clear which menu section has which button.

Bluetooth is also available for US camcorders and set-top boxes. 

Control has been simplified with built-in memory and prompts. And if you want, you can create multiple action scenarios. For example, when you get home, you can hear your favorite song from Amazon Alexa speakers. The company has paid a lot of attention to personalizing usability.

The mobile application has excellent compatibility with smartphones and tablets. Amazon Alexa can be downloaded at Play Market for free for devices with Android 6.0 and higher. 

Verdict

You need the Amazon Alexa app if you have at least one gadget in your house from this American company. It's easy to manage media and camcorders from your smartphone or tablet. But to get all the benefits of the app's functionality, you need to have different Bluetooth devices that synchronize with Amazon. That's good for those who want to create a Smart Home system.
You can download Amazon Alexa from the Play Market for free. Developers have not announced plans to add paid features.
